About

What made you decide to enroll at the University of Maryland?
I decided to enroll at the University of Maryland due to its location and the incredible systems that are set in place to ensure students are able to succeed. Maryland to me is an environment where I can thrive and continue to pursue higher dreams.

What major/career path do you plan on pursuing and how did you select that path?
I am pursuing the major of political science, philosophy and economics in order to pursue a career in immigration law. I selected this path through the guidance of those around me and the experiences of others. This allows me to connect with individuals pursuing the same career path.

Activities I do outside of class or community service/volunteer activities I'm involved with:
I'm adamant about civic engagement! Being in the CIVICUS program gives me those experiences. I also enjoy clubs including the Black Student Union, art honors societies, and more.

Aside from academics, what else do you hope to take away from your time at Maryland?
I hope to create friendships beyond an academic setting, to ensure I'm getting the best possible experience! I'm looking forward to ecstatic games, Maryland Day, and creating memories that go beyond graduation.

What are your future goals after graduation?
I would like to go to law school and pursue immigration law.
