About

What made you decide to enroll at the University of Maryland?
I decided to enroll at the University of Maryland because of the unique education that I can receive, surrounded by like-minded people who are both ambitious and social. UMD also provides a well-rounded education, especially in the business field, which definitely attracted me towards enrolling.

What major/career path do you plan on pursuing and how did you select that path?
I plan on majoring in finance, and I came to select this path after being involved in the Future Business Leaders of America club at my school. Being active in this club allowed me to experience how much business affects our everyday lives and gave me real life experience when competing in the business competitions.

Activities I do outside of class or community service/volunteer activities I'm involved with:
Throughout high school, I was the class president for three years, the president of the Future Business Leaders of America club, and the assistant manager at the Kumon Learning Center in my community.

Aside from academics, what else do you hope to take away from your time at Maryland?
I hope to make meaningful connections with other ambitious people, especially in the business school.

What are your future goals after graduation?
I hope to either pursue law school, get a finance related job, or start my own company.
