What made you decide to enroll at the University of Maryland?
What made me decide to enroll in the University of Maryland is the reputation of the college. This university's academics and campus life are what I am looking for in a university and am ready to be a member of.
What major/career path do you plan on pursuing and how did you select that path?
I decided to major in public health science because of my interest in the medical field and the science of health. For a long time I always imagined myself with a successful career in the medical field, this major will take me one step closer.
Activities I do outside of class or community service/volunteer activities I'm involved with:
Outside of class, I like to stay active during my free time, usually participating in sports or individual workouts, as well as spending time with family and friends as much as I can. The community service I participated in was usually related to church services, either during hourly masses or events focusing on the community.
Which programs are you enrolled in, and what have you gained from your experience in them thus far?
I am a member of the Maryland Promise Program.
Aside from academics, what else do you hope to take away from your time at Maryland?
Other than academics, I hope to experience the college life here at the University of Maryland. The campus is always alive and so many people participate and involve themselves in the endless clubs that the university has. I hope to join ones that I am interested in and meet new people who will enjoy the campus as much as I will.
What are your future goals after graduation?
After graduating, I hope to find and explore different careers related to my field and find the right one to build my career around, as well as to continue to apply the knowledge I learned from attending the University of Maryland towards my future.
